What started as a dream to traverse the legendary Panamericana from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska in 100 days has become much more than an overland adventure.

Spurred by the reality of a person close to the drivers is living with ALS and by the urgent need for progress in research, Rainer Behrendt and Jan Bongers are framing this journey as a “Race against ALS”.....

Two former Ranpak executives, Rainer Behrendt and Jan Bongers, will embark on a self-organized expedition of over 30,000 kilometers in 2025, from Ushuaia to Alaska. With their Panamericana 100 project, they are combining a personal challenge with fundraising for research into the ALS Foundation Netherlands.
